Massive Hack in Pakistan - Are you secure enough?

 


In this hack, the hacked pages redirected the traffic to a page featuring two penguins walking over a bridge with an annotation “Pakistan Downed”.  There is one more message in Turkish.  


One of the technical blogs in Pakistan, propakistani has expressed that the hackers group has made an exclusive communication with Propakistani and pointed out the vulnerability of the PKNIC servers, The hacking has been done to specifically expose the vulnerability of the PKNIC servers. According to ProPakistani report, the PKNIC servers are vulnerable to Boolean based blind sql injection, time based blind sql injection, cross site scripting, sensitive directory closure. The hacker claims himself eBoz, who has rerouted around 284 domains from their original domain server. The hackers stated that they would like to share the details if PKNIC wants to resolve these flaws.
