How can you easily type a mail in your native language?

Are you fond of sending mail or chatting in your native language? It is very difficult or time consuming to type in your native language from a normal key board. So, if we get a keyboard imprinted in native language, our job has made much simpler. Here we will see how we can quickly type in our native language.

Open google translate. You can see there are two large boxes; the left one is for source language i.e. from where you want to translate and the second one is the destination language i.e. to which language, you want to translate. In the left, click on the “From” language drop down and select your native language. Now click on the left source language box. You will be able to see one small drop-down button on the left bottom corner. Click on this and select online keyboard in your language. It opens up a small on-screen key-board panel, which is in your native language. Now you can easily type in your native language and the same gets printed in the left source box.  Now just copy your native language text and paste it in the mail or chat.

The only glitch here is that you don’t have native language Keyboard for all the languages.

Mount Fuji is the most famous mountain of the Japan, which is located on Honshu Island. It is the highest mountain of Japan and one of the three holy mountains of Japan along with Mount Tate and Mount Haku. Mount Fuji’s symmetrical cone shaped peak remains snow-capped several months of a year. After this mountain has become a cultural world heritage site, lots of tourists are expected to throng here. And it is one of the reasons that Google came out with its 360 view for Mount Fuji. Thanks to the Google’s street view team, who has put an outstanding effort to capture the street view of this Mountain. The street view has been mainly captured through camera in trekker backpack. There are approximately 14,000 panoramic view of the mountain, which is hitherto not seen by most of the eyes in the world. The street view covers the famous Yoshida trail, which is mainly the way to the peak for the hikers.

The most popular period of climbing the Mount Fuji is from July to August. So, even if you will not be able to get time in this summer, just sit back and enjoy the panoramic view in your monitor through Google’s 360 degree street view.

Save Money with Adobe Lean Print

With the increasing cost of life, everyone is trying hard for cost cutting, whether it is an individual or an organisation.  As a person, you may not be a heavy user of a printer, but daily thousands of papers are getting printed in office. Many of these print-outs are just for temporary purpose e.g. to distribute as hand-outs or just utilised as use and throw. Adobe has come out with an innovative idea “lean print”, where you can cut off much of your printing cost while you print such materials.

How does Lean Print Work

Lean print works on different areas to cut down the printing cost. It works with Microsoft Office, Adobe acrobat and all major browsers. Adobe lean print works in two different modes i.e. Toner Saver and Super Saver. The toner saver prints in original format and only saves toner. In the toner saver mode, it optimizes the colour e.g. colour of the graph and saves the toner. Whereas, the super saver mode prints in optimized layout and saves both paper and the toner. The super saver mode may reformat your content in multi-column format without compromising the readability of the content and optimized the space required for printing.  It may also change the font for an optimized printing.

With web pages, Lean Print is very effective. Its intelligent system can identify the original content that is required to be printed and gets rid of banner, menu, advertisement in the sidebar etc. If there are multiple articles, it can detect that as well and print only the content in interest. As an illustration, if you normally print the home page of universal-post.com, it comes as below.

However, if you print it using Lean Print (see below), the print comes as below. It also shows that the lean print saves closely 3 pages and 87% of the toner. The saving is equivalent to $0.48.

Overall, the Lean Print is a great innovation and an excellent tool to save money and more importantly a way to save trees by saving paper and toner.

Lean Print is available in three modes i.e. Enterprise Edition, Small Business Edition, Individual Edition. You can download the free trial version from Adobe website.  The Lean print tool also provides a dashboard, which helps you to track your savings.

Things You must know about Link Building service

When we initially launch a website, many people take help of link building service to generate huge number of backlinks. But have you ever wondered how do the Link Building Service companies create thousands of backlinks with in short span of time? If you have thought, you may become skeptical and do some research on their mode of operation.

There are number of reputed SEO companies. They might be having their own business agenda to generate backlinks, which is not known to the outside world. However, when you go for a cheap service, you need to be very careful about the way they are building backlinks for your website.

There are good numbers of services, which create backlinks manually, mostly through comments.  Even, you can hire people, who can create backlinks for you at a very cheap rate. Some SEO companies have automated the process of creating backlinks. But be aware that in the last change of Google’s algorithm, all the websites, which have spams comments, have been heavily penalized.

There are also SEO companies, which make use of tools that are available in the market freely. Three popular tools that are being used by many Link Building Service companies are given below
Xrumer – This tool can downloaded from http://www.botmasterlabs.net/xrumer/. Xrumer is pretty costly software, which costs $650 + $10 subscription per month. Xrumer activity is based on posting in forums. This program automatically registers in the forums and then log in and post a message with your website link.  It has special feature through which it can bypass any anti-spamming software. It also logs in through different proxy and hence avoids being blocked through an IP checker.

Scrape Box – Scrape Box activity is based on commenting in blogs. You can download this software from http://www.scrapebox.com/. It finds out site from Google, Bing, Yahoo etc. based on your keyword (same niche). Then it pings those sites. It can also automatically comment on all these sites on your behalf. Scrape Box uses proxy and hence can’t be blocked by using a single IP. Scape Box is much cheaper than Xrumer and is available for only $97.

Senuke – They claim themselves as World’s first cloud source link building system.  According to SenukeXcr team, it can create user id, blogs, articles, social bookmarks etc. in thousands of websites linking back to your website. The link building can be based on the keyword that you provide to SenukeXcr. SenukeXcr has two formats i.e. SenukeXcr Lite and SenukeXcr. SenukeXcr Lite costs you $67/month and the charge for SenukeXcr is $147/month. Both the formats are available with 14 days free trial period. The product can be downloaded from http://www.senuke.com/xcr/.

Some good SEO companies go for marketing routes to build backlinks to your site. This route may be much cleaner and comfortable for you.

So, next time you opt for a link building service, dig deep on modus operandi of the company. It should not backfire you and your website is penalized by Google.

Content Marketing Strategy For Your Blog

There are good number of blogs in the market, i.e. Web-market. The reason may be its high potential to earn, combined with low cost of start. You spend few dollars to own a domain and another few dollars to pay your hosting service provider. However, there are many blogs, which end up with a frustration of not attracting substantial traffic to their site. The main reason behind it is poor quality content and an absence of proper content marketing strategy.

What is content marketing? You need not to have a management of business administration degree to figure out the primary factor of any successful marketing. Yes, it is one of the many “P”s in marketing, the PRODUCT. In online blogging business, you are selling your product and your product is nothing but your blog content. Whatever excellent design you have for your site; whatever excellent strategy you adopt, you will not be able to survive without quality content.  Though, quality content doesn’t do any good, unless you have proper content marketing strategy.

Your blog readers are your customer and you need to sell your content to them. You may adopt different avenues to attract your customers through proper content marketing strategy.

Drive Traffic through search engines

First and foremost important way to route your customer is through search engine. Though there are number of search engines available in the market, Google is the major one followed by Bing and Yahoo. You have to target these three search engines at the least. To drive traffic from the search engines you must apply proper search engine optimization (SEO) technique. SEO itself is a very big topic and always changing to be in sync with the change of Google’s algorithm. To adopt SEO, you can go through different articles (including few posted here under category SEO) and then act accordingly. If you don’t have enough time or not comfortable in optimizing, you can engage some organization, which can help you in SEO. Additionally, you should update your blog frequently and submit your sitemap to all these search engines. Nowadays, Bing and Yahoo share the same webmaster.

Content marketing through social media

The social platform is becoming more important in the area of communication. Facebook is the major social platform, followed by Tweet, Linked In, Google+ etc. Where, people join this social platform to keep in touch with their acquaintances, the other objective is to keep oneself updated in all the areas of his\her interest. In facebook, you can have your personal or business page, which can serve as a platform for content marketing. You can invite your acquaintances to join your page and can gain publicity through this platform. Similar facility is also available in many other social platforms e.g. Tweet, Linked In, Google +, Scoop etc.  With social media in limelight and gaining importance continuously, you cannot ignore this avenue of content marketing.

Viral Marketing

Viral marketing has got lots of popularity of late. But what is viral marketing? Suppose, you have said something interesting to one of your friends. He liked it and told it to his fiancée. And his fiancée liked it so much, she told it to all her friends. And this chain messaging keeps on going and spread it like a virus. This also holds true for your blog as well. If you can engage your customer, it is always possible that they share your post with his friends. Many people experienced fabulous result, when they successfully implement viral marketing.  Many bloggers provide “Give Away”, to “viral market” their content. So, you need to always have the Share button for the popular Social Medias next to your post. If, you are using any ready-made blogging platform Blogger, Wordpress etc, they already have the share button embedded next to your article. Otherwise, you may always have these buttons through some Plugins (Wordpress) or extension (Joomla).

Campaign

In the initial days, when you are not known to many people, you may need some publicity. As it is true for any product, it is also true for your website. Campaign always drives traffic to your site but you need to shell out some money for the same. You can have banner, advertisement block or just simple text to publicize your blog. You can opt to show these advertisements in whatever websites you want. But, it is always recommended to go for the sites aligned to your niche. We do have popular websites and also NOT so popular websites. Where the popular websites charge you more, they will be having very good traffic.  You need to keep a balance in the money that you are paying and the publicity that you gain through these websites. You also need to consider different options through which these websites charge you. There are fixed chargeable banner or pay per click or embedded text mode. Weigh between different options and check which will be most beneficial for you.

So which content marketing strategy has turned out to be most effective for you?

The most useful backlinks checker tools

It's imperative that you keep up your site's reputation. So, it is not enough to have quality posts, but in parallel, you also do need to have quality backlinks. But, while you try to build your backlinks, you need to be extra careful. With Google's new algorithm, many websites got penalized, because of backlinks originating from junk sites, porn sites. Thus, it is no more a good idea to pay some cheap service provider to get thousands of backlinks origination from some worthless sites. As you understand, building backlink has become tougher than ever. We will see here, how we can make use of some of the backlinks checker tools.

To build backlink, one of the simple and easiest ways is to follow some good website in your niche. The high rank quality websites have good number of backlinks. You can figure out from where these websites are getting its backlinks through some backlinks checker tools. Once, you get the list of backlink originating site, you can start building backlinks for your website as well.

Now, let us see how we can check backlink for your competitor website. There are number of backlinks checker facility available in the web.

Open Site Explorer - Open site explorer is the most popular backlink checking tool. You can use it without registering in the site; however there are some usage restrictions, in case you are not registered. You just need to enter the domain name and it will show you the details.

Backlink Watch - Another good service to check backlinks. I often use their service to track newly added backlinks and deleted backlinks.

Ahrefs: Believe that this is the same as the Backlink Watch.

Alexa: Alexa has recently started providing only five backlinks to any website. In case, you want to know the entire list, you have to subscribe Alexa Pro.

Link Diagnosis: To see the full list of backlinks, you have to use Mozilla and install an extension provided by them.

SEO Spy glass: They have a free desktop version. If you use their desktop version, you will be able to see, how your competitors are really faring for a particular keyword. You can also enter a keyword for your website and check what is the average rank of your site pertaining to the key word in different search engines.

iWebtool : This is another website, which provides online backlink checking facility. However, their database isn't very exhaustive.

Build reciprocal link: Another back link checker tool, which is bit outdated.

Ranks.nl: This is basically keyword density and prominence analyzer. You need to sign up in this site to check the complete list of incoming links.

SEO Attack: I like this site as it provides the incoming and outgoing link information for each post\article. Apart from the backlink information, you get little other information like number of tweets, facebook share etc. post-wise.  I found this service very helpful. Here also, you need to register to get the full details.

Rank Signals: The information is very concise. It provides the backlink information with "nofollow" information and anchor test.

Dig Backlink: Another website, which provides backlink information. However, in few scenarios, I found that the backlink information is not complete.

Majestic SEO: Majestic SEO is a popular name in the world of SEO. They have backlink checker tool. However, if you want to get the details of backlinks other than your website, you have to subscribe one of their plans.

How to migrate from Joomla to Wordpress

Are you planning to migrate from Joomla to Wordpress but worried about the migration process. Well, you need not worry much; now we have a very reliable plug in for Wordpress, which can help you to do this migration. As we have recently moved from Joomla to Wordpress, we will walk you through the migration process step by step.

1. First of all, you need to take a complete back up of your Joomla site. Copy or take a local back up of the file systems. I generally use FileZilla to copy the files in my local drive. FileZilla is a free tool and quite reliable. You can download it from https://filezilla-project.org/download.php

2. Once, you take a file system backup, you need to take a back up of the database. If you are using mySql, log in to phpMyadmin and export the database. The file system and database back up can be restored back in case you mess up something.

3. Next, you need to install Wordpress. In many hosting services, Wordpress is readily available or you can install it yourself. Otherwise, you may have to put a service request for the installation of Wordpress.

4. Once installed and configured, login to Wordpress as admin and go to Plug In. Now in the Add menu, search for a Plug In called "FG Joomla to Wordpress". Once, you find the "Plug In" in the serach result, install it and activate it.

5. Now go to Tool-->Import. You will be able to see one option called "Joomla(FG)". Click on this and you will be able to see a form requiring different parameters for Joomla import. Enter all the parameters correctly and then click on "Test the Connection" to test connectivity to Joomla database.

6. Once, the test connection is through, you can move to the second section to set up some behavioural parameters. In Media section, you can opt for "Skip Media" in case you are planning to copy the media files manually.

7. Now click on "Import content from Joomla to Wordpress" to import the content from Joomla.

8. Once the Joomla content is imported, click on "Modify Internal Links". Once, the links are modified, you may want to check all the internal links manually or through some "Plug In", whether they are broken or not.

Once, everything is complete, you may want to verify few pages at random to check everything is coming proper. We have experienced that some of the images were not linked properly. It may be because of the fact that Joomla and Wordpress store images at diffent location and hence during import there was some mess up.

Figure out Facebook Unfriend the easy way

Facebook is an enormous platform for socialization. We always add friends in Facebook to expand our social circle. However, there are chances that you lose facebook friends intermittently. If you track number of friends, you can have an idea, if any of your friends unfriend you. However, if you have good number of friends, it will be difficult to find out exactly who has unfriended you. Unfortunately, facebook also does not provide any option to figure out facebook unfriend list.

There is a facebook application that can be real handy to find out who unfriended you. You can download this extension from http://www.unfriendalerts.com/.  This is compatible with Internet Explorer 7 and above, Firefox and Chrome.  Once you install facebook unfriend extension, it will ask your permission to access your public profile and friend list. Once you provide the permission, it starts functioning. Unfriend alerts check your friends list every hour to see who has unfriended you, and then automatically alerts you about any changes.

After installing facebook unfriend extension, you can just continue using the Facebook as usual. You can see the facebook unfriend alert icon beside your account name. Now, if someone unfriend you, you will get a notification. Even if someone deletes his profile, you will be getting an unfriend notification.

Social Bookmarking sites - A list you can make use of

There are many ways that you can create backlink to your site.  One of the ways is to publish your article or provide article snippet in another reputed website and provide a link back to your site. Sometime, we call it social bookmarking sites. There are good number of sites, which will allow you to publish your article and link back to your site. The good part in this kind of back-linking is that if the article is of high quality, the author can build his popularity. I am enlisting below some bookmarking sites with high page rank. Digg is such a popular website, which has high page rank and very high traffic. Though, it is bit difficult to get a place in such website, if you can manage it, you will be able drive heavy traffic from digg. Thus having your article published in a high PR, heavy traffic site has three benefits a) It helps you to improve your page rank b) Author of high quality page gets popularity and c) Heavy traffic flow.  The below listed book marking sites are mostly doFollow sites and hence you will get the benefit of link building as well.

This setting is particular to this post and overrides the setting that you have applied in Privacy.  After entering your status, once you click on Post, it will be visible to your intended facebook connections. On the same box, you will be able to see four small icons (encircled in red in the picture). They are a) State with whom you are b) location c) Adding a photo or video d) Adding a smiley. Alternatively, you update your status in Timeline. The difference between these two is that when you enter your status in Newsfeed, it will appear in other’s newsfeed and gradually go down the list with time and people will not be able to see it. Whereas, when you post in your timeline, it will always be visible when someone sees your profile.

Send a message to your friend – You can directly send a message to your friend. This can be done in two ways. When you add a friend to facebook, they are visible on the right hand panel. If there is a green button next to your friend, it means he is available online. You can click on the name and start chatting. If the person is not available online, you can still send an offline message. Alternatively, you can go to his timeline and click on the Message button on the cover photo.

Tagging a friend to a group – You can organize your friend list in groups such as Close friends, Family or any other group. For that, go to your timeline and click on friends. Now click on the Friends button next to your friend. You can choose “Close Friend” or can add him to any other list. Even you can create your own group through HomeàGroupsà Create Group.  From here itself, you can control the messages that you want to see in your newsfeed.

Though, there are many other features of Facebook, the above points are good enough to set you sail in Facebook.
